Ms. Woodham has been an employee of Gulf Coast  Community College as an adjunct instructor since 1988. She was employed as a full time faculty member in the Fall of 1998.  She teaches the college's journalism courses and is the faculty advisor for the college's newspaper, The Gull's Cry. She also teaches English Composition and Reading.

 EDUCATION and BACKGROUND 

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Ms. Woodham received an undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Alabama, and she completed all of her course work for an additional master's degree in English at Auburn University.

 OTHER INFORMATION 

Ms. Woodham has extensive experience in marketing, advertising and public relations.  She enjoys videography, photography and visual art of all description.  She is an ardent dog-lover and has an 11-pound black poodle, Newtie.  He was named after Speaker Gingrich because he "talks too much, gets in trouble everyday, and is very smart."  


Newtie died on May 19, 2005,
after 11 years of being my wonderful companion and friend…

I will always love and miss him!
